MARILAO, BULACAN — An alleged drunk motorcycle driver died while his companion is still in critical condition after they collided into a truck along Plaridel Bypass on Thursday morning, November 17.

Guiguinto Police Chief Col. Jowilouie Bilaro identified the rider as Gemar Sia, 26, from Marilao, Bulacan and the back rider Aris Mark Iduria, 26, from Balagtas.
Sia was declared dead on the spot after hitting the front of the truck and swept their motorcycle.
Iduria was then rushed to Bulacan Medical Center and later on moved to a hospital in Metro Manila.
The two victims were on a Suzuki Sky motorcycle traveling Brgy. Pulong Gubat along Plaridel Bypass going to Brgy. Tiaong at around 7 AM, Bilaro confirmed.
The police added that the duo suddenly changed direction and took a counter flow that resulted in a collision to an Isuzu Aluminum Van registered as WHU 719 going to Plaridel area.
According to the initial investigation, the victims were on a drinking spree with fellow workers from the RCS cold storage facility from 4 AM to 6 AM.
The Guiguinto police took custody of the truck driver Alex San Antonio, 31, from General Trias, Cavite.
