MALO-PETS, coined from Malolos Pets, is a Malolos Pet Exhibit Hub conducted every Friday from 4 pm to 7 pm.
Spearheaded by the City of Malolos Veterinary Office, the said program primarily aimed to eradicate rabies and to increase the awareness when it comes to pet ownership.
"Helpful siya dahil hindi na kailangan pumunta sa vet na ang laki-laki ng singil. Malaking tulong na may palibreng bakuna," said dog owner Laurice Natividad.
Gizelle Elic, also a fur parent, said the same thought as this free anti-rabies vaccine helped her save money for the needed vaccination of her two dogs.
MALO-PETS also wanted to give opportunities for local businesses that are selling pet supplies.
JFL Agri-Ventures that sells vitamins, shampoo, disinfectant, and dog food were invited as well as The Bird Talk Version 2.0 Bulacan that sells birds, probiotics, vitamins, and nest box. Plant sellers are also spotted in the event.
MALO-PETS was first launched on September 30 which showcased dog and bird shows, pet adoption, and reptile exhibits.
City Veterinarian Jorge Crisostomo stated that this program will run continuously until the supplies last.
